July Hike with The Local Hiker Crew!!
Onward and upward to a great time outdoors! Meet us at the ranger station and make sure to wear appropriate footwear, pack some snacks or light lunch, bring plenty of water and a good attitude! This time, Avery Creek Pisgah National Forest to find some waterfalls. Twin Falls and Crabhammer Falls!

About the Event
This hike will be 6.7 miles approximately but the eleveation gain is low at 987 feet approximately! We will be hiking along Avery Creek in Pisgah National Forest in search of Twin Falls and Crabhammer Falls! There will be many spots where we will be crossing the creek so, wool socks and some boots are a must! This hike will be perfect for the summer heat as we can cool off under the waterfalls around lunchtime. Park at the ranger station so we can carpool to the trailhead! We will head out no later than 9:15 AM! See you there!
