National Trails Day
Celebrate our local green spaces by participating in a 1.5 mile nature hike with (requests pending) an adoptable dog from a local shelter or rescue. Feeling adventurous? Join us for a 6 mile loop with light trail maintenance and trash pickup!

About the Event
This event is one we look forward to every year! National Trail Day is the day we get the opportunity to give back to our local green spaces. Camp Croft and The Local Hiker have a strong bond with this event and with two hikes available there’s something for everyone! Requests pending, we will have a local shelter bringing an adoptable friend to walk a 1.5-mile nature trail. There will be a longer 6 mile walk that will focus on trail maintenance and trash pickup! The week of the event is also known as Pet Appreciation Week! Because of this we are accepting donations in the form of materials needed by local shelters and rescues to help our furry friends the best we can!
