About the Event
Lace up your boots and hit the trail with us to celebrate National Trails Day! We will be hiking the Foster Mill Loop Trail at Croft State Park, in Spartanburg, SC. We will begin hiking at 9am, and will cover 6.5 miles.
The Foster Mill Trail travels along much of an old road bed and features some historical areas where you will see old trestle bridges as well as old cemetery sites. This trail will take you along ridges, crossover beautiful Kelsey Creek and take you right along the shore of Lake Craig. If you travel this trail you will find yourself in the beautiful bounty of historical, cultural, and natural resources that make up Croft State Park.
There is a $3 entrance fee per adult at the entrance gate. Our group will be meeting in the parking area and will hit the trail together at 9am.
