About the Event
Adventure comes with responsibility. In this class you will learn how to prepare for the unexpected, care for the places you explore, and make thoughtful decisions outdoors. This course introduces the ten essentials and seven principles of Leave No Trace. We will explore what it means to be responsible recreationist, from knowing what to carry and how to prepare to understanding our impact on wildlife, natural resources, and other visitors. Whether you are new to outdoor recreation or looking to become a more thoughtful adventurer, this course will help you explore the greater confidence, awareness and purpose.
